While Shuta Hasunuma's Philharmonic Orchestra is in full swing, releasing his first album in five years, "symphil," on March 22nd and holding a live concert at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall on April 2nd, his solo project has also been steadily progressing. He will be compiling the music he has been releasing as digital singles since last September into an album. Each of the works, with its own unique style, will be refreshing for those accustomed to the Philharmonic Orchestra, and will surely bring home to us the breadth of the musician that is Shuta Hasunuma. We spoke with Atsushi Sasaki, who is like a "foster parent" to him, about his intentions for creating a solo album at this time.
