Sound is Fun ~Shuta Hasunuma's Sound Collage~
[NHK-FM] May 1st (Thurs) 6:00pm-6:50pm
A special program that focuses on "sound" in the world. Musician Shuta Hasunuma asks guests about their favorite sounds and the memories that sound evokes.
Sometani Shota talks about the Edo period sounds of the historical drama "Berabou." He was shocked by the power of the "sound effects" in the kung fu movies he watched as a child, and since then, he has been very conscious of the use of "sound" in his acting as well. Sound designer Imai Yutaka also joins in the second half of the event. Imai has been in charge of music and sound effects for NHK dramas for over 50 years. What are his meticulous sound effects techniques? There will also be an impromptu sound effects mini-drama with Sometani Shota and Hasunuma Shuta. To commemorate 100 years of broadcasting, we will explore the joy of sound effects.
