#01 2025.04.06.

This is Shuta Hasunuma. Thank you for listening to the first broadcast of "wind and windows." I've appeared on radio shows and been a regular on special programs before, but this is the first time I've been involved in a show that's "my own." It looks like it's going to be an interesting show. That's what I'm feeling!

This program will be broadcast in three parts each time. I also like the anthology format.

The first episode of "wind and windows" is

・Hasunuma's self-introduction

・Muttering to yourself at home playlist

・Outdoor Radio at Tokyo National Museum (Tokyo National Museum)

The "Sound Map Kyoto" was at Genyu, a public bathhouse in Nishijin.

"Self-Introduction" was brought to you from my studio. It reminded me that introducing yourself is very difficult, even as an adult, but I hope I was able to put into words a little bit about who I am.

The theme for "Muttering to Yourself at Home Playlist" was from the program director, Nomura D. For this segment, I'm given a theme each time and create a playlist. As it was the first episode, the theme was a difficult one - "5 songs that define me", but I managed to slip through and select 5 songs by choosing "5 songs I listened to the night before I started making music (when I was around 18 years old)".

If you have a playlist you would like us to create, please send us a message and request ! We will make it!

Talking to myself at home playlist 01

Theme: 5 songs that make up me by Nomura D

01 Wet Floor / Akufen

02 Try Again / Aaliyah

03 Fuzzy Groove / Seiichi Yamamoto

04 Ondina / Arto Lindsey

05 seneca / Tortoise

"Outdoor Radio at Tokyo National Museum (Tokyo National Museum)"

One of the features of this program is that it is not always recorded from a studio. On this day, we went to the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno, Tokyo, which was bustling with cherry blossoms.

I went to the venue for the currently running exhibition "Immersive Theater: New Japonism - From the Jomon Period to Ukiyo-e and Anime." I am in charge of the music for this exhibition. It is an 11.5ch surround sound system. I spoke about the immersive theater work together with Misawa Emiko, who was in charge of the music production. For the first time, I was able to enjoy the screening from the audience's perspective. You can really experience the powerful charm of Yokohama Ryusei. During the broadcast, we also played unreleased sound sources used in the exhibition. Please give it a listen.

The "Sound Map Kyoto" section will introduce the environmental sounds of Kyoto.

For the first recording, we went to Genyu, a public bath in Nishijin. We recorded in the kiln behind the bath, and also recorded the bathhouse space while it was being cleaned before opening. I'd like to create a real sound map of Kyoto someday.

And we are looking for win-win supporters!

Listeners are the supporters of "wind and windows"! We are looking for "win-win supporters" to support the program. You can choose from anything you like, from your own ambient sounds, to the program's special original bathhouse hand towels and special original cases for "Daranisukegan," a traditional Chinese medicine from the Yoshino region of Nara that is rumored to be secretly popular in Kyoto, to the program's original theme and jingle sound sources, and off-topic sound sources.

I heard about Daranisukegan from Kyoto designer Ryota Mizusako, and after actually purchasing and using it, I felt so much better. I highly recommend it!

So, the next broadcast will be on Sunday, April 13th at 11pm. Where will we be broadcasting from next time? Stay tuned!
