[Shuta Hasunuma's MC Post-Broadcast]
It was mostly a Kyoto special! It became a broadcast about "newness." We did fieldwork with Ill-san to find new words, and visited the new "Osaji" to hear stories that connect the future and the past. We delivered it from Kyoto, where summer is finally approaching!

Met at JR Kyoto Station at noon. Rapper Illreme and editor Yusuke Nakamura also joined.

The weather that day was early summer, over 30 degrees Celsius.

To Higashi Hongan-ji Temple, a summer retreat spot that Illreme often visits.

It seemed that anyone could cool off in the main hall of Higashi Hongan-ji Temple when it was open. Some people were reading on the wide veranda.
By subway to Kitaoji. We aim for the second summer retreat spot that Illreme recently discovered.

On the way, a slightly late lunch. At Fuku-soba on Kitaoji-dori.
Asking Illreme about the house music he's been making recently.

To the second summer retreat spot, under Kitaoji Bridge over the Kamo River.

This day happened to be the last day of the Goryo Festival, the "Kanko-sai" (return procession). We encountered mikoshi (portable shrines) and participants parading through the town.
Bus ride to the next summer retreat spot.

To the third summer retreat spot, Kamohani Shrine in Takano.

A water-drawing spot used daily by locals. Several people came with plastic tanks even while the recording team was there.
Taking a break while getting bitten by mosquitoes. Illreme had another engagement, so he left at this point.

From a nearby bus stop to the Goshominami area. Heading to the next recording location.

Arrived at "Osaji Kyoto" a little late for the appointment. In the courtyard was "Momo no I," spring water said to have been used for brewing sake.

Ayana Tsuda, who was interviewed for this "Today's Person."

The Kyoto store of the skincare brand "OSAJI," which opened in April 2026. The former sake brewery was renovated into a store with a cafe and gallery.

You can hear about Ms. Tsuda and the launch of Osaji Kyoto on the radio & podcast.
