This is Shuta Hasunuma. Thank you for the fourth broadcast of "wind and windows." We've made it through a month without a hitch since the start of the broadcast. The uniqueness of this radio show is gradually becoming more apparent!
・"I met up with someone I wanted to meet in Kyoto = 'Today's Person'"
・"Outdoor Radio at Design Ah Exhibition neo"
・"Congratulations! Voice Message"
That concludes our three-part program! The next stop on "Sound map Kyoto," where you can experience the ambient sounds of Kyoto, is Kujo Pond at the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
" I met up with someone I wanted to meet in Kyoto = 'Today's Person' "
Today's Person: Sound Engineer Azuma Takeshi
We visited Shibashi, a cafe, bar, and art space in Sakyo Ward, to record the session. The content was so rich that it couldn't be broadcast. We listened to Azuma talk quickly, from the past to the future. It was long enough to be read as a conversation. We played "IN C," a song by Terry Riley, who participated in a dedication performance at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in 2024.

" Outdoor Radio at Design Ah Exhibition neo "
The " Design Ah! neo" exhibition has started at Tokyo NODE in Toranomon Hills, Tokyo. It has already been a big hit, and I'm happy to see that many visitors are visiting the exhibition every day. While listening to Abe Noriko and Shirata Hiromi, who are in charge of the program and exhibition (although there wasn't enough time for this either! I wish we could have broadcast more), I actually went to the venue with a microphone and experienced the exhibition myself. The exhibition will be on until September 23rd, but it is an exciting place no matter how many times you visit, so I recommend you go early. It's an exhibition to experience, play, and create!

" Congratulations! Voice Message "
The broadcast has started! So, we received congratulatory voice messages from friends and acquaintances! We actually received many, but due to time constraints, we carefully delivered the messages from three people without any cuts. We will also be delivering "Congratulatory Voice Message 2" in the next broadcast. We received messages from graphic designer Nagashima Rikako, Nakamura Keisuke of DAIKEI MILLS, and Arimura Ryo of in the blue shirt. Thank you very much.
" Sound Map Kyoto "
If you want to record sound in Kyoto, the first place to go is the Imperial Palace! So off we went. There were so many locations that it was hard to choose, so we started recording from the bridge over Kujo Pond in the south. There were lots of tourists there, and it was bustling with the spring vibes.

As you can hear, this program is an alternative program. We will create the program together with you. We are looking for win-win supporters!

Listeners are the supporters of "wind and windows"! We are looking for "win-win supporters" to support the program. You can choose from your own ambient sounds, original bathhouse hand towels, a special case for "Daranisukegan," a traditional Chinese medicine from the Yoshino region of Nara that is rumored to be secretly popular in Kyoto, original theme and jingle sounds, and even off-topic sounds. I heard about Daranisukegan from Kyoto designer Ryota Mizusako, and after actually buying and using it, I felt so much better. I highly recommend it!

So the next episode will be in June!
The broadcast will start on Sunday, June 1st at 11pm. Where will the next episode be? Stay tuned!
