The postponed duo performance with Keiji Haino has now been rescheduled. I'm delighted to finally be able to present the music we've been working on behind the scenes, taking the utmost precautions amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We've worked together twice before: the first time, we improvised "Kimigayo," and the second time, at the Kyoto Rohm Theatre, it was a session. For this "Uta" performance, we'll perform a piece that we've rehearsed countless times to create. I'm proud to say that we've created something truly new. I myself have a wide range of creative output, but it's rare to see a piece that has been so painstakingly and collaboratively crafted over such a long period of time. At the same time, my respect for Keiji Haino has only grown with each rehearsal. I believe it will be a truly inspiring evening. I hope you'll come along.
