20th Anniversary Concert
Shuta Hasunuma Double Philharmonic Orchestra
Shuta Hasunuma, who released his first album on an independent US label in 2006, is celebrating his 20th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, he will hold a concert, "Shuta Hasunuma Double Philharmonic Orchestra," at Suntory Hall in Akasaka, Tokyo. He will create a new sound at Suntory Hall with his own orchestra, Shuta Hasunuma Phil, and a newly formed string orchestra. Please look forward to a program that summarizes his career and presents new challenges.
On October 25th, 2026, we will celebrate our 20th anniversary. Thanks to everyone who has supported us in so many ways, we have been able to continue our creative activities. Thank you so much. Around this time 20 years ago, I was just one person making "something like music" by mixing electronic sounds and ambient sounds in my bedroom at home, and through meeting so many people, I was able to build my own music. The future is mysterious.
Because this is our 20th anniversary concert, we're trying something new. We're combining the "Hasunuma Shuta Phil" with a "string orchestra." The members of the "Hasunuma Shuta Phil," with whom we've shared both joys and sorrows, will be joined by a "string orchestra" specially formed for this concert. We've named the two orchestras "W (Double) Phil."
May this space be filled with blessings and a spirit of challenge, all enveloped in music.
It's summer vacation, so we've created a family seating area. Please come with your family! This is a concert we hope many different kinds of people will come to.
I'll continue composing; see you at Suntory Hall this summer.

U-20 seats: ¥3,300 / Parent-child seats: Adult ¥6,600, Child ¥2,500
All prices include tax.
Admission is charged for elementary school students and older. Preschool children are admitted free of charge (one child per adult may sit on their lap). However, a ticket is required if a separate seat is needed. Children under elementary school age are not permitted to watch from anywhere other than the designated parent-child seating area. Please be sure to purchase parent-child seating tickets.
Precautions
About parent-child seating
- These seats are reserved for families with children of elementary school age or younger. You may be asked to present proof of your child's age upon entry.
- Admission is charged for elementary school students and older. Preschool children may sit on an adult's lap (one child per adult), but please purchase a ticket if a separate seat is required.
- Junior high school students and older should purchase tickets for other seating categories.
- Entry is not permitted for parents only or children only.
Regarding U-20 seats
- This ticket is available for purchase by anyone under 20 years old on the day of the performance.
- Please bring a form of identification that can verify your age for entry on the day of the event.
- This ticket is an exchange voucher. You cannot enter before exchanging it. Please exchange it for a reserved seat ticket at the venue reception on the day of the event to enter.
- Ticket exchanges will take place at the exchange counter starting one hour before the venue opens on the day of each performance.
