Tokyo Midtown DESIGN TOUCH 2024

"Tokyo Midtown DESIGN TOUCH 2024," a design event based on the concept of "enjoying design with all five senses," will be held at various locations in Tokyo Midtown from October 11th to November 4th.

The theme for this 17th event is "Weaving Design - Weaving the Future." Taking into account various environmental changes toward a sustainable society, the event will offer a program that allows visitors to experience the power of design to weave together future changes and people's hearts. During the event, a variety of events will be held, including outdoor installations, multiple exhibitions, talk sessions with participating creators, and guided tours with the creators.

The grass plaza will feature "Rireki no Oka," an installation of three connected rings of wood. It is a work by architect Kumatachi. On weekends and public holidays, visitors will be able to stick stickers representing the actions they have performed on the wooden surface, changing the landscape of the work. In addition, a one-day live session by Shuta Hasunuma will be held on October 20th.
