Environmental sounds recorded around the world will be installed in Ginza Sony Park.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, people’s travel has been restricted, and it is now difficult to contact others even in “public” areas.
In such an age, artists around the world produced works using environmental sounds under the concept of “publicness.”
This project is always ongoing and changes its form, as various artists participate.
Visitors can imagine unknown things by listening to ambient sounds that actually do not exist around them.
This is an endeavor to enable visitors to listen to the sounds reverberating in the world.
“Silence Park” is a new background sound of Ginza Sony Park, produced by artists around the world and Shuta Hasunuma under the theme of “publicness.”
Ginza will be filled with audio works collected from around the world while changing their forms like weaving sounds.
Please listen to them.
