This is the original soundtrack for "Hanarokusho ga Akeru Hi," the memorable first full-length animated film directed by Yoshitoshi Shinomiya, who, in addition to his main work as a Japanese-style painter, has also participated in話題作 such as "Your Name." (directed by Makoto Shinkai) and "In This Corner of the World" (directed by Sunao Katabuchi).
Shuta Hasunuma produced all tracks, including the theme song "Aoba -Movie Ver.-" sung by imase.
This album features 15 tracks with sound design that accompanies the characters' emotions and beautiful scenic beauty, including pop and familiar piano melodies, elegant and beautiful string and synthesizer sounds, and emotional acoustics that vibrate in the spaces between minimal sounds. Each cut is like a fresh painting, responding to the delicate mental state, making this a comfortable album work that allows you to feel the colors.
The theme song "Aoba -Movie Ver.-" was written and composed by imase, and with the collaboration of Shuta Hasunuma, who carried on the world of the soundtrack, it has become a new masterpiece that brings out a side of imase that has not yet been seen. Shuta Ishizuka (Gt, Ba) and Seigen Tokuzawa (Vc), who have participated in past works by Shuta Hasunuma, joined the performance, along with Aya Ito (1st Vn) and Miho Chigyo (2nd Vn). The arrangement provides a pleasant afterglow to the film and is also an indispensable track for this soundtrack. Toshihiko Kasai was the recording engineer, Matt Colton was the mixing engineer, and Seri Tanaka was the jacket designer.
