This work is somewhere between a live album and an original album, created by reconstructing material recorded at the independent event "Ongaku Kara Tondemiru" held in 2009. It includes covers of songs like SUN RA's "Door of the Cosmos," and a glimpse of the band arrangements in the early lineup of Hasunuma Shuta's team. The album has a somewhat innocent sound. Shuta Hasunuma's albums, from his debut to his previous work "POP OOGA," have been released overseas one after another, and all of them remain bestsellers to this day. His first album in about a year and four months has now been completed, made from live recordings. This work was created using all the recordings from "Ongaku Kara Tondemiru," held at Shibuya O-nest on Sunday, July 12, 2009, and is a new and fresh work that is sure to show the direction of music in the 2010s.
This album features tracks from his previous album, "OK Bamboo" (2007), as well as live versions of songs from "Downloading 9 Music," a free download series he ran on his website from April to December 2009. It also includes a cover of SUN RA's "Door of the Cosmos," which he performed with the entire audience at the event, making it a career-culminating package. The powerful, delicate, and meticulously crafted arrangements and performances performed with a band set are unmatched, a feat unimaginable from the original album. This joyful album showcases the origins of Shuta Hasunuma's live performances, where he interprets all aspects of music history and sincerely engages with music.
In live performances, he actively performs both domestically and internationally as the "Hasunuma Shuta Team." His teammates include Ishizuka Shuta (detune.), Saito Ryosuke, and Jimanica (DVD), as well as Unami Taku and Nanba Kazuumi on recordings, and guest vocals by Go Takuro (detune.) and Kinoshita Misato. The artwork is by Hisham Akira Bharoocha.
